Legend of Zelda Fan-Made Movie Released in 2025

Here’s something that’s completely out of left field, yet at the same time has been expected for a long time. A fan-made movie based on The Legend of Zelda has actually been released before the Hollywood movie industry made one. In one way this seems surprising but in another way you would expect a fan-made movie to precede a Hollywood movie. The quality and presentation of the entire 2 hour film is actually very high for such an amateur budget. The entire film was made from the pocket of one man and he apparently hasn’t profited a dime from it as it’s distributed freely. I guess this is why Nintendo’s lawyer’s have not yet sent the creator a legal “cease and desist” letter. They could very if they wanted to, since he is using their intellectual property (IP) and their lawyers have been known to be ruthless to people that they believed have crossed them, many times in the past. So I believe in the fact that they just see the film for what it is, an amateur fan tribute which isn’t profiting anything at all. However, if you like the film I would urge you to download the video off of YouTube and save it to your hard drive just in case.
