ModRetro Chromatic 1st Edition "Logan Paul Edition"
So this isn’t exactly breaking news, in fact this happened nearly a year ago now but I have only just come across it. If you are like me you may have been wondering what the deal was with the “Logan Paul Edition” of the ModRetro Chromatic. Take a look at this YouTube video from Logan Paul’s channel and you will get why ModRetro made a Chromatic in honor of the heavy weight wrestling champion. The Chromatic that is shown on the video promo screen that you see below does not exist as far as I know, I think it’s been doctored in photoshop to create a new color scheme to intrigue people into clicking on it. I don’t understand why you would need clickbait for this video as it’s already interesting enough for any gaming enthusiast to want to see it anyway. Enjoy!
Blue Scuti the 14 Year Old Tetris Prodigy
In 2023 14 year old “Blue Scuti” was credited with the honor of being the first human in history to beat Tetris on the NES as he made it to level 157 which is where the game crashes. Obviously this kid has some major, major talent and I’m sure has spent many hours perfecting his technique to be able to accomplish such a feat. With his skills he obviously used them in competing in the Tetris World Championships which is where he met Logan Paul. As far as I know Mr Paul is a professional wrestler but like many of us that have grown up in the 90’s, became a hardcore retro gaming enthusiast. He was no stranger to Tetris either having been obsessed with the game while he was in grade school he managed to acquire some mad block re-arranging skills himself. So it’s not like he was a total amateur that is completely out of his depth when he entered the Tetris World Championships. The competitive nature of being a professional fighter made him extremely motivated to wanting to defeat the world champion of Tetris and (judging by the video) it had a consumed a lot of his life in 2023-2024. Very surprisingly he actually managed to beat his opponent in the first match even after he lost his first round very badly. Massive respect to the guy for his efforts, I was very impressed at his performance.
